Laura & Joe were married on Dec 28th 2021 at Fairyhill, A Grade II listed Georgian house set in 24 acres of stunning woodland and manicured gardens in the Gower, South Wales. It was a gorgeous winter wedding and thankfully the weather stayed dry for us. Bride and Groom prep was at Maes Yr Haf which meant I could cover both of these on the morning of the wedding. Below are some of my faves from this Fairyhill winter wedding!
Fairyhill Swansea is part of the Oldwalls collection and is set in an area of natural outstanding beauty and has acres of woodland. It is on the doorstep of some stunning beaches and gower scenery including worms head and three cliffs bay! Going offsite for wedding photographs is quite common with brides getting married at the Gower wedding venues. With this being a winter wedding in December we decided to stay on site even though the weather was dry. One of the many things I love about being a Swansea wedding photographer are the stunning grounds in which these gower wedding venues offer. Fairyhill set amongst the trees and woods has its own charm when it comes to wedding photography. Being a creative wedding photographer who loves nothing more a leafy tree woodland shoot, it makes my job a lot easier when working at such a wonderful wedding venue.
Below is another wedding photo from a wedding at Fairyhill, from the wedding of Roxy & Dan where we headed to worms head from photographs. As you can see its a great idea if the time and weather permits to head off site to add some drama to your wedding photos.
